Today's economy is crippling our low-income community
High inflation and rising rent, food, and gas prices have been especially hard on the low-income households served by The Cooperative Ministry. We receive an average of 322 applications per month regarding assistance with rent and utilities.
Please support our Annual Appeal through Dec. 31, 2024. This year's goal is $75,000, which can provide rent and utility assistance to 50 Richland County households. Among our clients, most heads of household are women caring for 2-3 others in the home, usually children and older adults.
The Cooperative Ministry is a debt-free organization. Of total expenses, 89 percent support program services for our clients. When you give to The Cooperative Ministry, your gift directly impacts the lives of people in our community.
Your donation has a meaningful impact on those in the Midlands.
Thank you for believing in our mission to help households thrive with services aimed at immediate needs and economic self-sufficiency.
